If you are leaving your job today, here are some things you can do:
Make a list of all of the people you know – don’t call them yet!
Write down all of the things you really like to do, job related or not.
Write down all of the things you liked about the job you just lost.
Write down all of the things you are happy to be rid of associated with
that job.
Take a deep breath.

If you are having a relationship crisis today, here are some tips:
At this moment this is how you feel – know it will change! Nothing too good or
too bad lasts forever!
Be in the present – not in the past or future. To do this concentrate on
your breathing!

If you need a break today, here are some things you can do:
Say thank you 7 times before your day ends.
Insert a rest 5 minutes before each new activity for the remainder of today,
for example:
• Before you get out of the car to go into the office sit for 5 minutes and rest.
• Before you go back to work after lunch (even if you ate at your desk) sit for
5 minutes and do nothing except rest.
• Before you leave for home take five minutes to just sit and relax.
• Before dinner take 5 minutes to sit and relax.
• Before bed take 5 minutes with the television off to just sit and relax.
Whatever your health crisis is, here are some immediate things you can do:
Contact your healthcare professional – then
Lower stress by focusing on your breathing.
Be still for 5 minutes before each new task throughout the day.
Meditate on the body part that is giving you concern focusing all your good thoughts
of healing toward that area.
Spend some time in nature.
Take a walk.
Make a list of all of the things you already do that are good for a healthy lifestyle.
Money Rule of thumb: People first, then money, then things.

If you do
not have a place to stay, contact any church or the police station nearest
you and they will give you a referral (do
not dial 911).
Check on
line for financial assistance or benevolence fund.
Money
circulates in and out of our lives – many people have lost everything they
own
and have had gained it all back again.
Whatever
your financial situation – it will change! Nothing too good or too bad
lasts forever.
If you are having a spiritual crisis today, it is likely due to a loss. Here are some things you can do:
Breathe. Be still.
Know that fear and trust cannot occupy the same chair.
Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Acceptance and Depression are normal feelings
associated with loss.
Simplify and eliminate
stress.
Be tolerant of your limits.
Be with supportive
comforting people
Give yourself the same love and attention you would give your best friend.
Talk about your grief.
Talk about the person that is absent. Celebrate your memories. Love does not end
with death.
Do what is right for you … make a plan.
